Vital Signs presentation

A chilly autumn afternoon up at Base 31 for a great presentation by the County Foundation who have been measuring the County’s “Vital Signs” since 2013.

Covering youth engagement, housing affordability, post COVID struggles, and more …

Congrats to Anne VanVlack – responsible for the Vital Signs data gathering initiative – and her colleagues. I came away energized by the great things being done in our community and how much more can be done!

Picton Terminals

Paul Allen’s recent ‘survey’ raised a question for Council candidates that was originally suggested to him by voter Leslie Stewart.

On October 21, 2020, Council voted unanimously to deny a rezoning application from Picton Terminals to bring in container and cruise ships. If presented with a similar vote today, how would you vote (deny or approve)? Why?

My vote would be an unequivocal ‘DENY‘. Click here to read why.

Wellington Times questions

My full response can be found at Wellington Times – full answers.
